HB 636/SB 1196, Continuation of Plumbing Regulation.
The House version of this bill has already been approved in the Licensing & Administrative Procedures Committee and is now in the Calendars Committee awaiting return to the House floor for debate before a final vote.  The Senate version has been referred to the Natural Resources & Economic Development Committee but has not been scheduled for public testimony.

SB 871, Alternative Plumbing Regulation Bill (No House Companion Bill).
This bill has also been referred to the Natural Resources & Economic Development Committee but has not been scheduled for public testimony.

HB 1650, Plumbing Education in Texas High Schools.
This bill received public testimony in the House Licensing & Administrative Procedures Committee, where it was left pending.  According to my communication with the bill sponsor (Rep. Schaefer of Tyler), it is being held up due to opposition by plumbing unions.

SB 1409/HB 3803, One Plumbing Code State-wide (IPC).
The Senate version has been referred to the Natural Resources & Economic Development Committee but has not been scheduled for public testimony.  The House version has yet to be assigned to a Committee for action.
