This course includes the 6 hours of continuing education required by the TSBPE to renew plumbing licenses in Texas (Master, Journeyman, Tradesman, or Apprentice with endorsements). It may NOT be used toward the initial licensing requirements for the Journeyman or Tradesman examinations (which require live CE courses). This course is also approved for 0.60 CEU credits (Preferred Provider) by the International Code Council, Course #34595.
The course year concept has been eliminated and this is valid for any license renewal within 12 months of completion. This course is valid for one license renewal from July 1, 2022 through December 31, 2024.
The course book will be mailed to you while you may also download the material immediately. You also have two options for completing the course, traditional or online.
Option 1, Traditional Completion:
- Read the material and complete the Answer Sheet at your convenience.
- Return ONLY THE ANSWER SHEET to us via email, fax, or mail/delivery.
- We will grade the Answer Sheet and notify you of the result via email.
- We will report completion of your Continuing Education electronically.
Option 2, Online Completion:
- After payment, you may access the course & modules in your account.
- Detailed guidance for “Accessing Your Course” is available in Help.
- You may answer the required questions online at your own pace.
- Upon successful completion, you may print your certificate & we will report your completion to the TSBPE electronically.
Important 2023 CPE Special Notice
As the TSBPE transitions from fiscal year to calendar year tracking of CPE credits, courses taken in the second half of 2022 will also count for 2023 renewals (i.e. two renewals using one CPE credit) due to their system limitations. If you chose to (or accidentally) complete a CPE course in July-December 2023 even though you already have a 2023 CPE credit, our clients will be given CPE credit for the 2024 renewal. No refunds are available after the fact since no CPE credits will be wasted.

When does the course start and finish?
The physical book will be mailed to you within two business days. You may also access the online supplement to download the modules and begin answering the required questions immediately after purchase.
How long may I access the course?
There is no expiration and this course may be completed anytime. However, only one person may receive credit per purchased course (sharing access is not permitted).
Will I have live interation with an instructor?
Generally, no. However, you may submit questions in the online course discussion which are answered by our instructors as they are able.
Does this course have any certificates?
Yes, participants will receive a completion certificate and attendance is electronically reported within two days. Besides credit for Texas plumbing licenses (TSBPE), this course is approved for International Code Council certifications (Winn’s CE is an ICC Preferred Provider).
