Medical Gas Piping Endorsement, Houston/Missouri City, February 11-13

This course is designed to fulfill the requirements of The Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners Rules Sect 363.11(b).

Specifically, “Before a Plumbing Inspector, Journeyman, or Master Plumber may qualify to take the Medical Gas Piping Installation endorsement examination, the applicant must complete a training program approved by the Board which pertains to subject matter applicable to the installation of medical gas piping systems” per the (NFPA) 99 Health Care Facilities Code.

Also, per new rules, it is strongly advised that each candidate for the Journeyman or Master Med Gas endorsement complete a sufficient amount of brazing practice prior to attending the class.  Observed brazing practice (although not required) will be conducted, time permitting.  If you would like the opportunity to practice brazing, bring your own complete torch, silfoss, 1-1/2″ L copper pipe, and 1-1/2″ copper couplings.

Course fee includes a copy of the NFPA 99 current edition (2021) to keep (a $111 value).

This course is also approved for 2.40 CEU credits (Preferred Provider) by the International Code Council, Course #17187.

Yes, participants will receive a signed completion certificate and attendance is electronically reported within two days.  Besides credit for Texas plumbing licenses (TSBPE), this course is approved for International Code Council certifications (Winn’s CE is an ICC Preferred Provider).
