Continuing Professional Education For Louisiana Plumbers
Effective for the 2021 Continuing Professional Education year, we are honored to have been chosen as the provider of annual CPE curriculum for the Louisiana Board, each education provider, and ultimately every plumbing professional in the state. Below you will find basic information about the current curriculum and a link to the approved providers for live or correspondence courses.
CHANGES RELATED TO TEXAS RECIPROCITY
Effective April 29th, 2021, the State Plumbing Board of Louisiana no longer accepts Texas Continuing Education Courses for credit toward Louisiana plumbing license renewals. On January 11, 2022, Louisiana & Texas signed a license reciprocity agreement between the two states (See: LA, TX). Note that each state has different annual CPE requirements and both must be met independently of the other in order to maintain an active license in both states.
“I truly appreciate how you have changed CPE in Louisiana….For the person that goes into CPE with the right attitude they can learn something of value thanks to the programs your company has developed for us.” — Carl Bourgeois, SPBLA Member
